Usually not to this extent. When PMOS is suspected, individual androgens are usually measured, 17-OH progesterone is rarely added for differentiation, and glucose metabolism is almost never included, even though it is decisive for treatment. Then there is the matter of specialisation: a gynaecologist is not automatically a hormone specialist. Our four gynaecologists at care work with female hormones every day and continue to train in the field on an ongoing basis – from Cycle Health through Fertility and Perimenopause to PMOS. You are free to pass your report on to your own gynaecologist at any time.
