Usually not. In a gynaecological consultation, a hormone profile is mostly ordered only when there is a specific suspicion of a hormonal disorder. Without that reason, a broad base profile is rarely part of the routine. Then there is the matter of specialisation: a gynaecologist is not automatically a hormone specialist. Our four gynaecologists at care all specialise in female hormones and reproductive medicine. You are free to pass your report on to your own gynaecologist at any time.
