That depends on the method.
Under the pill, hormonal ring, patch, implant or three-monthly injection, we advise against the test, because these methods suppress your own hormone production. After stopping, at least two natural cycles should have passed. Please do not stop anything without speaking to a doctor first.
With a hormonal IUD, the test is possible. It acts mainly locally, your hormone values stay readable. What is often missing is the bleed that determines your cycle day — so tell us about the IUD when you book.
With a copper or gold IUD, a condom, or no contraception, the test is possible without restriction.
